Title: Printed Flexible Hybrid RFID and Development of Applications
Speaker: Yamagata University, Research Center for Organic Electronics Prof. Takeo Shiba

【Abstract】
Our research division is engaged in the research for printed device, for example, organic transistor, sensor and integrated circuits. As an application we are promoting the development for thin and flexible sensor, which makes it possible to be mounted on the human body or objects. Flexible hybrid electronics is now being actively developed worldwide, in which a printed integrated circuit of organic sensor, interconnect and antenna and a Si-LSI are unified on a flexible plastic film using a printing method. As Si-LSI has many functions, not only GHz band communication but highly integrated memory and processor are available. We have developed a flexible hybrid RFID device for practical use in the healthcare management and in the tracking and monitoring of commercial goods in IoT society.
