- Congratulations to a Ph.D. student, three master's students, and nine bachelor's students who have graduated from Tokito Lab.

- February 22, 2023 (Wed.), at a webinar Soft Sensing Investments Collaboration Consortium, was held online. Associate Professor Ushi Nakajima, Associate Professor of Applied Physics, Tokyo University of Science, gave a seminar on "Functional properties of high molecular molecules and applicants as IoT Devices.”

- At 10:00 p.m. on January 25, WBS (TV Tokyo) introduced the Organic Electronics Research Center of Yamagata University, which is participating in the 9th Wearable EXPO exhibition. Included was a sheet-type sensor that can monitor human vital sign information unobtrusively.

- On February 17 (Friday), Prof. Tokito will give an invited lecture, "Research and Development and Application Development of Flexible Printed Organic Sensors," at the Applied Organic Molecular Bioelectronics Subcommittee (Microsoft Teams & local hybrid event).

- At the 18th Color Inkjet Technology (IT) Course on December 20, 2022 (Tuesday) 13:20-14:10, Professor Tokito will deliver an invited lecture on "Research and Development and Application Development of Flexible Printing Organic Sensors." The event will also be held online.

- A paper titled "Printed Low-Hysteresis Stretchable Strain Sensor Based on a Self-Segregating Conductive Composite" by Ms. Ayako Yoshida, a project researcher, was published in ACS Applied Engineering Materials.

- Assistant Professor Sekine and second-year Master's program graduate student Yushi Watanabe published "Optimization of a Soft Pressure Sensor in Terms of the Molecular Weight of the Ferroelectric-Polymer Sensing Layer" in Advanced Functional Materials, and was selected for the cover picture.

- Assistant Professor Sekine received the 21st Intelligent Cosmos Promotion Award. Congratulations!

- A paper by project researcher Ayako Yoshida "Printed, all-carbon-based flexible humidity sensor using a cellulose nanofiber/graphene nanoplatelet composite" was published in Carbon Trends.

- Master's student Shogo Tachibana won the 2021 Outstanding Student Award. Congratulations!

- Congratulations! Student Mayi Abe's master's thesis "Research on the Development of Thin-Film Soft Pressure Sensors with Pore Structures" won the Best Presentation Award.

- In "Convertec 2021 Vol. 580 No. 49", on Electronics, issued July 15th, an article was published with the title, "Flexible Hybrid Electronics that Support IoT: Accumulation of Printing and Materials Technologies to Create FHE Sensors for Logistics Applications.

- Associate Professor and Research Supervisor Nagamine's research theme, "The development of non-destructive in-situ chemical sensing methods for pre-symptomatic detection of diseases in agricultural products and basic technologies for practical applications," was adopted in the 2021 "Innovation Creation Enhancement Research Promotion Project" (Bio-Oriented Technology Research Advancement Center). Congratulations!

- On Saturday, June 5th, Professor Tokito will give a special lecture, "Health management and medical application of flexible organic sensors," at the 29th Annual Meeting of the Tohoku Regional Association of the Japanese Society of Physical Fitness and Medicine (Yonezawa Prefectural University of Nutrition, Yamagata).

- The achievement of the joint research between our laboratory and Tokyo University of Science was published in the radio newspaper on March 15th, titled as "Wearable battery array that generates electricity with sweat developed by research groups such as Tokyo University of Science, using Japanese paper for the substrate material"

- Congratulations! Tokito Lab student B4 Yuki Motomura received the Yamagata University Hata Itsuzo Award . B4 Keisuke Ito received the Yamagata University Excellent Student Award. B4 Chiba Shunya received the Yamagata University Excellent Student Award.

- Congratulations on graduation! At Tokito Lab, 1 doctoral student, 4 master's students, and 6 undergraduate students were awarded degrees.

- We are collaborating with KDDI R & D Laboratories to develop applications for chairs (smart chairs) equipped with seat-type sensors developed by our laboratory. The application image is published at the following URL.
